Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot 5K
One of the most common traditions that most cities have each year for Thanksgiving is what is called a “Turkey Trot.” This involves a race that typically helps benefit local charities. Participants are able to walk or run. Cocoa Beach features the Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot 5K is our local trot and is the second part of a three-race series held in the fall and winter seasons. There will be the full 5K race for adults and shorter races that include a ¼, ½, and full mile for younger runners. Participants are also able to earn a medal for their participation. Guests who return to Cocoa Beach over the fall and winter seasons can also participate in the Fall into Winter 5K and Reindeer Run 5K to round out the full series. Space Coast Half Marathon
If a 5K is not long enough of a race for you there is also the Space Coast Half Marathon. This longer race is perfect for more experienced runners who will be able to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the beach during their run.
