Founded in 1999 and formerly known as the Cocoa Beach Surf Museum, the Florida Surf Museum has moved from its original small space that was barely big enough to turn a longboard around to where it is today. The first location grew large enough that it moved to its current location inside the Ron Jon Surf Shop watersports building.
