Favorite Restaurant: Top 3 are Rusty's at the Port, Rising Tide, and Nosh.

Favorite hidden gem: Jetty Park, I love going there to watch the cruise ships depart! The Disney cruise ships horn plays "When you wish upon a star" as it leaves. It is magical! You can also fish right from the rocks there!

What people would be surprised to learn about the Space Coast? The Space coast itself! Our unique retro beach town charm is extremely refreshing and surprising to most out of towners!

Describe your perfect day in Cocoa Beach: Waking up to watch the sunrise, getting breakfast at Southern Charm Café, watching the surfers at the Cocoa Beach Pier, lunch at Papa Vito's, afternoon fishing charter out of the port (I am determined to catch a Mahi Mahi!), and ending the day with my family and my dog either grilling at home, or at one of our amazing restaurants in town!

What do you love most about working at SICB?: Our small family business mindset is what trickles down to our guests. At the end of the day our family wants your family to have an amazing stay! We provide you with the best accommodations on the space coast so you can enjoy your stay and explore our little slice of heaven!

Favorite Restaurant: The Beachside Cafe - excellent breakfast and lunch spot!

Favorite hidden gem: The beautiful intercoastal waterways of Brevard. I would recommend a kayak tour to look for dolphins, manatees, alligators, herons, and all kinds of beautiful, unique wildlife.

What people would be surprised to learn about the Space Coast? The resurgence of the Space Program. Being a child of the Space Shuttle era, it is cool to see all these new companies coming and advancing science and space exploration. If you're lucky enough to see a rocket launch on your visit it is quite the experience!

Describe your perfect day in Cocoa Beach: My wife Chloe and Scooby our dog would spend the morning on one of our beautiful dog friendly beaches. Then we would walk around downtown Cocoa Beach exploring the shops, bars, and restaurants. Finally we would have dinner at any of the amazing restaurants at Port Canaveral and watch the cruise ships sail out.

What do you love most about working at SICB?: My coworkers. From the owners of the company to our cleaning staff, everyone cares deeply about each other and our guests. Our success is derived from the passion each employee brings with them to work.

Favorite Restaurant: The 4th Street Fillin Station. It’s a very cool restaurant that is set up inside an old gas station. They serve a great variety of different foods, drinks, and ice cream.

Favorite hidden gem: The Kennedy Space Center. We are actually able to watch the rocket launches from most of our units. NASA launches hundreds of rockets every year, so keep your eyes in the sky and you might catch one taking off!

Favorite Restaurant: Carabba’s Italian Grill in Merritt Island. Great easy family friendly spot.

Favorite hidden gem: Preacher Bar & Grill – a really neat low lit tavern, with an eclectic menu and over 50 craft beers to choose from!

What people would be surprised to learn about the Space Coast? We have had snow here! Don’t worry, it only happens once every couple of decades.

Describe your perfect day in Cocoa Beach: Watch the sunrise (we get spectacular sunrises over the beach), spend the morning by the water, have lunch outside at Sandbar, relax on the beach and end with dinner at SquidLips watching the sunset.

What do you love most about working at SICB?: The ease of getting things accomplished with the support of the whole team - and seeing the guests enjoy themselves at our properties.

Favorite Restaurant: Simply Delicious Cafe: A great local spot for breakfast/brunch. I recommend the Eggs Benny or stuffed French Toast!

Favorite Hidden Gem: The river side of Cocoa Beach - the Banana River has so many interesting isles, nooks and crannies to explore by kayak, boat or stand up paddleboard that is very close to many of our buildings. I love seeing all the manatees and other wildlife!

What would you be surprised to hear about the Space Coast: That "I Dream of Jeannie" was set in Cocoa Beach & Cape Canaveral. There is a street near Lori Wilson Park named after it.

Perfect Day in Cocoa Beach : Start by watching the sunrise (they are so spectacular on the beach!), then building sandcastles with my daughters on the beach followed by an ice cream cone at the Fat Donkey in downtown Cocoa Beach and a seafood dinner on a patio enjoying the warm air.

What do you love most about working at SICB?: The energy of the people and constantly finding ways for guests to enjoy their stay. Nothing makes me happier than having people discover our cozy beach town and planning their next stay.

Partner & Head of Technology

Favorite Restaurant: The Green Room Cafe for a fresh & healthy meal

Favorite Hidden Gem: Wicked Pineapple for their acai bowls.

What would people be surprised to hear about the Space Coast: Last year NASA's Kennedy Space Center supported a record number of launches from the Space Coast. We are excited to see if they can make history and do it again this year with a record number of launches! The launches can be viewed from the comfort of many of our oceanfront patios, or from the Chateau by the Sea rooftop deck. It's one of the largest in the area and is exclusive to guests staying there!

What do you love most about working at SICB?: I love hearing about our guests' stay with us! It's very rewarding getting a 5 star review from a happy guest that had an amazing experience, and wants to come back to stay with us again!

Describe your perfect day in Cocoa Beach: I love starting the day with a coffee at Juice & Java, then enjoy hanging by the pool with my family. In the afternoon we love to find a local patio to eat outdoors, like 4th Street Fillin Station, where I can try an awesome local beer. We love ending the day with a walk on the beach to catch the beautiful sunset!

Partner & Head of Owner Services

Favorite Restaurant: There are so many great ones in the area! For a special date night, I would recommend the Fat Snook.

Favorite Hidden Gem: Cafe Surfinista for their great local surf vibe, coffee and acai bowls.

What people would be surprised to hear about the Space Coast: I'd say the most common surprises I hear from our guests is how relaxed and charming Cocoa Beach is, and how many things there are for families to do beyond enjoying the beach (things like bioluminescence tours, fishing, space camp, aerial adventure, go karting, etc.)

What do you love most about working at SICB?: It's the fun, energetic, family atmosphere we all bring working with each other, helping our guests, or enjoying our get-togethers outside of work! It's very difficult to describe but for those who've become part of a small family company, passionate about the mission, it'll be easy to relate!
