While some parts of the country might already be getting chilly with the fall season the sun is still shining high here at Cocoa Beach. During your stay you will find that there are plenty of exciting Halloween events and activities to join in on. There are also plenty of other ways to spend your time here in the fall. Here is how you can spend your Halloween in Cocoa Beach this year:
7th Annual Halloween Pub Crawl at Cocoa Village
There are plenty of adults only events happening along Cocoa Beach where you can enjoy a night out with friends and drinks for Halloween. At Cocoa Village you will find the 7th Annual Halloween Pub Crawl that takes guests to a variety of local bars and venues for an evening of shenanigans. This Halloween event encourages all attendees to show up in costume as prizes will be given out for the best dressed. This year’s Halloween Pub Crawl will be providing proceeds to The Children’s Hunger Project so you can support a great cause as you have fun. This year’s event will be start at 6:00 PM on October 23rd.
Viera’s Harvest Festival
If you happen to be visiting Cocoa Beach in the weeks leading up to Halloween, you can take part in Viera’s Harvest Festival. This fall festival is perfect for the whole family as it includes a variety of activities. The festival will include local vendors, a pumpkin patch, food trucks, pumpkin carving contest, live music, and much more. Viera’s Harvest Festival will be taking place in nearby neighbors of Viera. You will be just a short drive away from Viera’s Harvest Festival taking place on October 16th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Trunk or Treat
For children Halloween is naturally all about putting on your best costume and getting as much candy as possible. Just North of Cocoa Beach is Cape Canaveral where it will be hosting the annual Trunk or Treat, a children’s event that allows them to go trick or treating in a safe and exciting setting. Truck or Treat will be taking place on October 29th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will be using socially distanced spaces and have one way traffic for families to walk around ensuring everyone stays safe. Contactless delivery of candy allows them to get as much as possible without having to directly interact with others. This year’s Trunk of Treat will be taking place at Cape Canaveral’s City Hall located at 100 Polk Ave. There will also be contests for best decorated vehicle if you want to join in on the festivities!
Halloween Boogie Night Sip-n-Stroll
Another great adults-only event that will take you around the different night life spots in Cocoa Beach is the Halloween Boogie Night Sip-n-Stroll. This local event allows you to show up in your best costume as you head out with friends. Over 30 different businesses in Downtown Cocoa Beach will be participating so you can go bar hopping with ease. The event will have a roof top ending where the party comes together. Halloween Boogie Night Sip-n-Stroll will take place on October 30th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Enjoy the Beach
As mentioned, the weather on Cocoa Beach during the fall season is still absolutely gorgeous. This means that while everyone back home may be layered up in sweaters and jackets you can be relaxing on the beach. Lay back in your favorite swimming suit as you soak up the sunshine. The water may be starting to get colder but is more than enjoyable. The evenings are still nice enough to where just a light jacket may be needed.
Go to Cocoa Village
During your down time head over to Cocoa Village for an afternoon or evening of fun. Cocoa Village has everything you need such as many unique shops and restaurants. All of the local boutiques are locally owned and offer a bit of everything. The restaurants specialize in all kinds of cuisine from Italian, Thai, Japanese, and classic American cuisine.
